Cheng Ah Teck

Mr. Cheng joined Ta Ann Group in 1997 as Chief Operating Officer and was subsequently re-appointed as Head of Corporate Planning and Development. He is responsible for corporate strategic planning and investor relations. Mr. Cheng started his career at Standard Chartered Bank in 1981 and worked in various branches before moving on to becoming Senior Accounts Relationship Manager in 1987. In 1991, he joined HSBC as Corporate Business Development Manager for the Sarawak region in Malaysia. He left the banking sector in 1993 to be the Chief Operating Officer of Earthmovers Solomon Limited in Solomon Islands and worked there until December 1996. Mr. Cheng graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in Economics from Coventry University, UK in 1980.
