Steve Pufka

Steve Pufka is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry and materials development. Currently serving as a Senior Quality Engineer at TA Instruments since August 2022, Pufka previously held roles including Engineering Group Lead at DuPont and Engineering Group Leader at The Dow Chemical Company, where responsibilities included managing global supplier relationships and overseeing semiconductor consumable manufacturing processes. Pufka has a proven track record of product management and process improvement, demonstrated through significant projects such as managing the development of a novel semiconductor polishing pad and leading an expatriate assignment in Taiwan to establish a manufacturing team. With foundational experience at companies including Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials and W.L. Gore & Associates, Pufka possesses a diverse background in process engineering and product development, supported by a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.
