Phil Jones

Phil Jones has extensive experience in the financial and technology sectors. Phil started their career at IBM in 2003 as an EMEA LDG placement. From 2006 to 2013, they worked at Betfair where they managed the global pricing strategy and led a team responsible for pricing. During their time at Wonga.com from 2013 to 2014, Phil served as a Pricing Manager and implemented innovative risk-based charging techniques. Phil then joined WorldRemit Ltd in 2014 as a Pricing Strategy Manager, where they developed and tested pricing strategies. From 2015 to 2017, Phil worked at Bank of Ireland as a Senior Pricing and Analytics Manager, overseeing pricing strategy and statistical modeling for loans and credit cards. Currently, they are employed at Tabeo as the COO / CRO, focusing on simplifying payments and contact management for healthcare specialists.

Phil Jones completed their BSc in Accounting and Financial Management from Loughborough University from 2001 to 2005. In 2013, they also pursued an online course on Statistical Learning from Stanford University. In terms of additional certifications, Phil obtained certifications in Bayesian Statistics, Inferential Statistics, Introduction to Probability and Data, and Linear Regression and Modeling from Coursera in May 2017. Additionally, they achieved fluency in German (Intermediate level) and French and Spanish (Advanced level) through various language courses offered by Duolingo between 2016 and 2017.
