Sean Tai is the Head of Business Development at iLex, where efforts are focused on innovating the loan market through a next-generation platform for loan syndication and trading. With 20 years of experience in fintech, Sean Tai founded Debtdomain and served as its CEO, leading the company in multiple regions including London, Singapore, and Toronto. Previous roles include Managing Director of Loan Platforms at IHS Markit, where the synergy from Debtdomain’s syndicated loans contributed to the acquisition of Ipreo, and EVP/Managing Director at Ipreo, overseeing the global syndicated loan business. Additionally, Sean Tai worked as a Manager in the Syndicated Loans Team at Standard Chartered Bank early in the career. Sean Tai holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Sydney.
