Lara Vanderhoof

Lara Vanderhoof currently serves as the Chief Academic Officer at Central Christian College of Kansas since June 2022 and has been an adjunct professor at Tabor College since August 2017, teaching in the Masters of Education Neuroscience and Trauma program. Additionally, Lara is an Assistant Professor of Social Work and the Social Work Program Director at Indiana Wesleyan University since June 2017, where courses are taught in the MSW online-distance learning program. Since January 2011, Lara has also been a Team Leader at Set Free Movement, working to mobilize various community sectors towards combating human trafficking. Prior to these roles, Lara served as the Assistant Director for Family and Community Services at USD418 Early Childhood Programs from July 2014 to June 2017 and was a Professor of Social Work at Tabor College from August 2010 to August 2014. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Social Work from Capella University, an MSW from Roberts Wesleyan University, and a BSW from the same institution.
