Daniel Weeks

Daniel Weeks has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Daniel co-founded Tabular in 2021 and currently serves as the Head of Engineering. Prior to that, they were involved in various roles at The Apache Software Foundation, including being a member of the Apache Iceberg PMC since May 2020 and the Apache Parquet PMC since January 2015. From 2013 to 2021, Daniel worked at Netflix, where they held positions such as Engineering Manager - Big Data Compute and Senior Software Engineer. Daniel started their career at Lockheed Martin as a Software Engineer Staff from 2004 to 2013.

Daniel Weeks has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Santa Clara University. Daniel has also obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Software Engineering from the same university.
