Erika B.

Erika B. currently serves as the Environmental Health Policy and Legislative Liaison at the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department since January 2023. Previously, Erika held the position of Contract and Program Auditor in the Housing Division at the City of Tacoma, where responsibilities included streamlining operations, supporting property transfers, coordinating grant planning, and tracking affordable housing legislation. Erika gained early experience as an intern in Economic Development Services at the City of Tacoma, providing marketing support and assisting with business development. Additional roles include Administrative Assistant positions at Nourish Pierce County and Vancouver's Downtown Association, and creating visual artwork as an Independent Artist. Erika holds a Master of Arts in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Washington Tacoma, alongside various degrees in business, management, and languages.
