Nikki Bufford

Nikki Bufford currently serves as the Energy Risk Manager at Tacoma Power, a position held since October 2016, where responsibilities encompass overseeing the Wholesale Energy Risk Management function, credit risk management, and the implementation of risk mitigation strategies. Additionally, Nikki holds roles as a Board Member on the Growth Management Policy Board for the Puget Sound Regional Council, and as Councilmember and Mayor Pro Tempore for the City of Fircrest, becoming the first Black member of the City Council. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Portfolio Strategies, Inc. and Symetra Financial, focusing on operations management and client services. Nikki earned a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Finance and Managerial Economics from Central Washington University.
