Bart MG Smits is a seasoned professional in genetic sciences with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Genetic Sciences and Compliance at Taconic Biosciences since December 2018, Bart also holds positions as Affiliate Assistant Professor and Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina since January 2013. Specializing in genetic engineering, breast cancer genetics, and CRISPR-Cas9 technology, Bart's research focuses on breast cancer susceptibility and gene regulation.
