Sharon Kim has over 8 years of professional experience in product design, merchandising, and production. Sharon began their career in 2013 as a Production Specialist at Ethan Allen. In 2015, they joined The Avon Company as an Associate Manager of Product Design and Merchandising Assistant for Skincare. From 2017 to 2021, they were a Product Designer for Footwear at JCPenney, working on the Liz Claiborne, A. N. A, East 5th, and St. brands. In 2021, they became a Digital Product Designer at Ulta Beauty and a UX/UI Designer at TechStyleOS, where they developed the first design system to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience across every brand touchpoint, re-designed the style quiz, and added key storytelling features to the category grid. In 2022, they joined Ribbon as an iOS Product Designer, where they simplified property deal cards for agents, streamlined the offer submission process, and lead the design for a new product line providing first-time homebuyers with solutions for home affordability. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Lead Product Designer at Tacori.
Sharon Kim obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Baruch College. Sharon also received a Certificate from Designlab in UX Academy. Additionally, they obtained a UX Design: 3 Creating Personas certification from LinkedIn in August 2021.
