Roy Odom

Roy Odom has a diverse work experience that spans over three decades. Roy began their career in the U.S. Army, serving in various leadership positions and managing logistics and operations. During this time, they demonstrated strong organizational and management skills, including overseeing downsizing initiatives and leading large teams.

After leaving the military, Roy transitioned into the private sector, where they continued to excel in the field of logistics. Roy worked for Tapestry Solutions as a Regional Manager, responsible for managing a large team of technicians and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels. Roy successfully implemented changes to service methods, resulting in increased customer software usage.

Roy also gained valuable experience in the software industry, working for companies such as ManTech International, JB Management, and Miro Technologies. In these roles, they utilized their technical expertise to support and train clients in the use of various software solutions. Roy demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, leading to increased software usage and improved efficiency.

In their most recent position at Tactical Edge, Inc., Roy served as a Logistics Software Field Support Representative. Roy became the go-to expert for virtual machines used by the US Marine Corps, and they managed projects for customers by conducting site surveys, gathering requirements, and executing support for unique exercises and events.

Throughout their career, Roy has consistently demonstrated their ability to adapt to new environments, learn new software systems quickly, and effectively lead teams. Their experience in both the military and private sectors has given him a well-rounded skill set in logistics, operations management, and software support.

Roy Odom obtained a Master's of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Technology and Management from the University of Maryland from 1988 to 1991.

In addition to their degrees, Roy Odom also holds various certifications. Roy obtained the following certifications from Microsoft: MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician on Windows 7, MCSA: Windows 7, Microsoft windows configuration (70-680) and Certified Enterprise Desktop Support Technician(70-685), MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, and MCTS: Windows 7, Configuration. Roy received these certifications in March 2015 and May 2013 respectively.

Furthermore, Roy Odom has certifications from CompTIA, including Security + obtained in October 2019, CompTIA Network ce obtained in October 2011, and CompTIA Security ce obtained in December 2011.
