Iris Yee has been working in the architecture industry since 2015. Iris began their career as an Architectural Modelmaking Intern at Studio Associates Of New York, where they utilized fabrication materials to construct Columbia University campus model and crafted miniature sculptures to complete Port Authority model. In 2021, they joined DCP Architecture as a Junior Architectural Designer and Architectural Intern. During their time at DCP Architecture, they conducted site survey of 4-story townhouse to verify existing conditions, drafted exterior elevation and section drawings in AutoCAD, and produced axonometric drawings of two offices for website. Currently, Iris Yee is a Design Agent - Physical at TAD, a position they have held since 2022.
Iris Yee has a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture at Syracuse University, which they obtained between 2016 and 2021. Iris also holds a Bachelor of Architecture - BArch from Syracuse University, which they attained between 2016 and 2021. In 2019, Iris participated in study abroad programs at Syracuse University in Florence and Syracuse University in London, both related to Architecture. Prior to attending Syracuse University, Iris attended Parsons School of Design - The New School, where they studied Architectural Design. Iris started this in 2015 and is still enrolled. Before that, they attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, where they obtained their High School degree in Art between 2012 and 2016.
