Trevor Cooper

Business Development Manager - Military Engines/Wheels & Brakes at TAE Aerospace

Trevor Cooper started their work experience in 1973 as an Aircraft Technician/Supervisor in the Royal Australian Air Force, where they gained valuable skills and knowledge in gas turbine engines. After leaving the Air Force in 1993, they worked at GEC Alsthom as a Production Planner/Scheduler, specializing in MRPII skills and managing purchasing, stores, and outsourcing. Trevor then joined the Australian Public Service in 1999, working as a Production Planner/Scheduler and Components Manager, responsible for forecasting, production planning, and coordination of maintenance tasks. In 2006, Trevor joined TAE Aerospace as a Components Manager, aligning maintenance operations with the company's strategic direction. Trevor later became the Military Engines Operations Manager, overseeing MRO activities for GE F404 and GE F414 engines and providing strong leadership to the staff. Finally, they held the role of Business Development Manager - Military Engines/Wheels & Brakes, focusing on business development in the military engines and wheels & brakes sector. Throughout their career, Trevor has demonstrated excellent leadership skills and a commitment to performance, environmental awareness, safety, and customer service.

Trevor Cooper attended Sandgate State High School in Brisbane from 1970 to 1972. Following their high school education, they enrolled in the Royal Australian Air Force School of Technical Training from 1973 to 1974. At the latter institution, their focus of study was Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, in general.
