Stefan Schmitz

Stefan Schmitz is a highly experienced software engineer currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at TAE Life Sciences, focusing on software development for Boron Neutron Capture Therapy since January 2022. Previously, Stefan held the position of Sr. Software Engineer at Google from June 2012 to June 2013, and worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Accuray Inc. from July 2006 to June 2012. Earlier in the career, Stefan gained extensive experience as a (Sr) Software Engineer at Siemens Medical Solutions USA from 1990 to 2006. Stefan earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Riverside, between 1980 and 1986.
