Mark Gower Obe

Mark Gower OBE serves as Chairperson at The Nursing and Midwifery Council, focusing on justice and public protection since October 2022. Previously, roles include Director at 3PX Ltd, specializing in security and emergency response, and Managing Director at Beyond Blue Global Ltd, providing investigative solutions and training. As a Senior Contract Manager at Global Secure Accreditation, Mark managed a Quarantine Program during a critical public health initiative. Mark's extensive experience in counter-terrorism and policing includes senior advisory roles with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and operational leadership within Counter Terrorism Policing. Mark's career in the Metropolitan Police spanned nearly three decades, culminating in significant leadership positions within serious and organized crime commands. Education includes ongoing studies at the College of Policing.
