Chris Sen has worked in the software engineering field since 1992. Chris began their career as an Electrical Engineer at Watlow, where they wrote software for micro-controllers that went into refrigeration trailers/trucks. Chris then moved to Sony Electronics as a Staff Engineer/Device Driver Lead, where they wrote software for CDMA mobile phone user interfaces and device drivers, as well as worked on Sony's HDTV software designs. In 2000, they became a Senior Engineer at Widcomm Inc., writing software for Bluetooth devices. In 2018, they worked as an Independent Contractor for Airthings. In 2019, they took on two roles, first as a Senior Software Engineer at vence corp, and then as a Senior Principle Software Engineer at Cubic Corporation. Chris currently works as a Software Engineer at Tag-N-Trac.

Chris Sen obtained their Masters in Electrical Engineering and Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology between 1989 and 1992. Chris then attended National Taipei University of Technology from 1980 to 1985. In 1998, they completed a Specialized Certificate in CDMA Engineering from UC San Diego. In 2019, they obtained two certifications from LinkedIn: Learning Linux Shell Scripting and Linux Foundation Cert Prep: Network Security (Ubuntu).
