Natalie Matuszczak is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social services and education. Currently serving as a Social Services Advocate at the Tahirih Justice Center since April 2020, Matuszczak has previously held multiple roles at the YMCA of Greater Houston from October 2014 to September 2019, including Harvey Recovery Resources Coordinator and Civics & Literacy Instructor. Prior experience includes working as a nanny and French language tutor for private families, as well as various positions in education and research at institutions such as the University of Michigan Herbarium and Freedom House Detroit. Matuszczak holds a Bachelor of Arts in French & Francophone Studies and Urban Studies from the University of Michigan, and has participated in summer programs focused on urban design and French language studies in Iceland and France, respectively.
