Laura Paneno

Laura Paneno is an accomplished educator and coordinator with extensive experience in physical education and English language development. Currently serving as the Physical Education and English Language Development Coordinator at Tahoe Truckee Unified School District since November 2017, Laura successfully restructured the English Language Development Department, achieving a notable 18% increase in student improvement on the ELPAC exam and a reclassification rate of 53% for English learners. Nominated for the 2023 Linda Brown Excellence in Education Award, Laura has excelled in building strong relationships with students and staff, orchestrating school-wide events, and managing various educational roles. Prior experience includes roles at Clif Bar & Company as the Brand Activation Lead, where Laura generated product trials and developed marketing strategies, and as a Global Trip Leader for Backroads, achieving high customer satisfaction ratings.
