Yangzesheng (Andrew) Sun

Andrew Sun's work experience includes the following positions:

1. Senior Product Manager at Taitopia since September 2022 (present role).

2. Software Engineer Intern at Taitopia from August 2021 to June 2022.

3. Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Yangzesheng (Andrew) worked as a Research Assistant from January 2018 to May 2022, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2017 to December 2017.

4. Machine Learning Research Engineer Intern at Scale AI from June 2021 to August 2021.

5. Undergraduate Research Assistant at Wuhan University from September 2014 to June 2017. Yangzesheng (Andrew) also served as the Director of Visual Design for Wuhan University Student Union (Council of Undergraduate Students) from July 2015 to July 2016.

Yangzesheng (Andrew) Sun began their education at Wuhan University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from 2013 to 2017. During this time, they were enrolled in the Honors Program.

In 2016, Sun had the opportunity to be a Visiting Student at the University of California, Berkeley. There, they furthered their knowledge in Computer Science and Physics for a brief period.

Sun then joined the University of Minnesota in 2017 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Theoretical Chemistry. Yangzesheng (Andrew) remained at the university until 2022, completing their Ph.D. studies.

Parallel to their doctoral studies, Sun also pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota from 2020 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Sun obtained a certification in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in March 2018. The certification further showcases their expertise in the field.
