Nick Kingston

Nick is a member of the Takapuna/Hauraki community, with his children attending local primary and intermediate schools. He is the Head of Science, contributes to the development of the school timetable and supports other members of the senior leadership team in their roles. Nick is a keen outdoorsman and enjoys being in, on or around the ocean. In 2015 Nick was seconded to the Sir Peter Blake Trust as the environmental educator where he spent time at the Auckland Islands in the southern ocean. He believes a teacher’s own experiences are an important way to engage students in their learning.
