Sherlonda Martin

Sherlonda Martin is the Global Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Takeda, responsible for creating and executing a global DE&I strategy across 31 locations and serving as Chief of Staff for the Enterprise Global DE&I Council. With extensive experience in learning and development, Sherlonda has held various leadership roles, including Director of People Development and Associate Director of Learning and Development at Takeda, where important initiatives such as leadership courses and culture activities were implemented. Prior experience includes significant positions at Novartis, where Sherlonda developed high potential leadership training and established the Cross Cultural Marketing program. Sherlonda also held roles at Wyeth-Ayerst, Quintiles, Ortho-McNeil, and Merck, beginning a career in pharmaceutical sales, and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Georgia.
