Benjamin Yvernault has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Benjamin started their career as an Intern at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they developed tools for segmentation. Benjamin then joined IFP Energies nouvelles as an Intern, where they implemented a method for reconstructing sinograms.

From there, they worked as a Medical Imaging Engineer at Vanderbilt University, leading a project involving the Tennessee Twin Study. Benjamin developed and maintained a data processing and quality assurance environment for the study.

Benjamin then transitioned to a Research Associate at University College London, where they served as the main data manager for a project on Prostate Cancer. Benjamin also took over different projects related to XNAT and led the XNAT development team meetings.

After that, they joined Takima Academy as a FullStack Developer, where they learned various development technologies and concepts.

Following their time at Takima Academy, Benjamin worked as a Java Software Developer at Viamedis before joining Mirakl as a Full-stack Java Developer. At Mirakl, they contributed to projects involving database migration, performance optimization, microservices migration, and asynchronous actions using Kafka.

Currently, they are serving as the VP of Engineering at Takima, where they are responsible for technical excellence and prioritizing the well-being of employees and clients.

Benjamin Yvernault completed their education from 2008 to 2012 at CPE Lyon, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science and Image Processing. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also attained several certifications, including "Kotlin for Java Developers" from Coursera in December 2018, and "Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 8 Programmer" and "Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer" from Oracle in June 2018 and March 2018, respectively.
