Sonia Kaurah

Sonia Kaurah is the Founder and CEO of Tala Thrive, a mental health platform established in March 2023 that connects individuals with culturally competent therapists and coaches. Prior to this role, Sonia served as a Mentor in Residence and Program & Ventures Director at Second Foundation from November 2021 to January 2023 and worked as a Startup Accelerator Advisor at Danske Bank concurrently from August 2022 to January 2023. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Advisor at Nets Group, a Board Member at the Australian Business Council of Sweden, Program Director at Antler, and Head of Startups and Community at SUP46. Sonia's career began as a Community Manager at The Cluster. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Science/Psychology from Monash University and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition from La Trobe University, alongside a high school education at Methodist Ladies’ College in Melbourne.
