Kenneth Liao

Kenneth Liao is a seasoned analytics professional currently serving as Senior Manager of Portfolio Analytics at Tala since February 2022, having previously held the position of Manager in the same department. Prior experience includes a tenure at Qorvo, Inc. from August 2016 to August 2020 as a Senior Reliability Engineer, where Kenneth conducted outlier detection and qualified new technologies. Kenneth also contributed to the Applied Data Science Meetup as Program Coordinator from September 2017 to April 2020, leading a hackathon focused on public transportation data. Kenneth completed a Data Science Fellowship at Springboard, worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Center for Polymers and Organic Solids, and acted as Lead Teaching Assistant in the Department of Physics. Educational accomplishments include a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, a Data Science Career Track from Springboard, and a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics from UCLA.
