Laura Schaller

Responsable Impact Environnemental at Talan

Laura Schaller has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Laura began their career at Audiophase - Cinephase, where they served as a Postproduction Manager. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of French versions for documentaries and managing French dubbing projects. Laura also worked as an in-house translator for various content. Following that, Laura worked at Discovery Inc. as a Languaging Editor and later as a Languaging / Dubbing Manager - France. In these positions, they focused on the quality of translation, voice-over delivery, and the overall dubbing process for the company's channels. Laura liaised with recording studios, provided guidance and support on editorial and stylistic issues, and monitored translation quality. Laura then transitioned to Reforest'Action as a Communication Project Manager, overseeing communication projects within the organization. Currently, Laura is employed at Talan as a CSR & Sustainabilty Project Lead, where they are involved in implementing CSR policies, promoting diversity and inclusion, and answering CSR audits and label applications.

Laura Schaller has a Master's degree in Sustainability Management from Green Management School, which they obtained from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Master 2 Pro degree in Specialised Translation: Audiovisual Adaptations from Université Paris Nanterre from 2009 to 2010. In 2007 to 2008, they obtained a Master 1 degree in Anglais from Oberlin College. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Civilisation from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) from 2005 to 2006.
