Adan Avelar

Adan Avelar has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. In 2004, they started working as a professional blogger for Blog Vecindad Gráfica, a role they held until 2022. From 2005, they also worked as a Content Manager & Social Media Strategist, Marketing Digital Designer, and Freelance Graphic Designer at Adan Design. Adan provided training in professional graphic design and worked internationally as a speaker, consultant, and graphic artist.

In 2008, Adan became a Coordinator for Technology Digital Events at Campus Party, where they organized events for Campus Party, Aldea Digital, and Tequila Valley until 2010. Adan then became the Coordinator of Digital Culture at Campus Party Mexico in 2009.

From 2011 to 2013, Adan worked as a Content Manager & Social Media Strategist at Clicker 360. Adan joined Genius-Arena in 2021 as an Executive Director, overseeing the creation of high-level competitions focused on generating valuable projects for governments, companies, universities, and NGOs. In 2017, they became the Director of Talent Hackathon and Talent Challenge at Talent-Network.

Adan's most recent position is as the Co-founder & CPM at Hiring Challenge, starting in 2022. Adan has also worked at UNAM, where they were involved in creating and maintaining digital platforms. Additionally, they have provided professional training at various universities like Tec de Monterrey, UNAM, IPN, and digital agencies.

Adan Avelar attended Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana from 1986 to 1990. Adan obtained a degree in Comunicación Gráfica during this time. In addition to their formal education, Adan also received certifications from Lynda.com. In December 2013, they completed the certification for CSS: Page Layouts, and in October 2013, they completed the certification for WordPress 3: Creating and Editing Custom Themes. In August 2016, they obtained the certification for Lead Generation Fundamentals, followed by the certification for Becoming a Web Developer: Full Stack vs Front End in July 2016.
