Janina Schmidt-Žilič has a diverse work experience in various industries. Janina started their career as an Area Sales Manager at Esprit, where they managed wholesale key account customers in Russia and Eastern Europe. Janina also took care of the Russian e-commerce and was involved in order planning, on-site support, and budgeting. Following their tenure at Esprit, they worked as an Account Manager for e-commerce fashion and travel at vente-privee devient Veepee. In this role, they were responsible for account management in various areas, including women's, men's, and children's fashion, as well as travel. Janina then joined Digital Schooling as a Key Account Manager for Higher Education & Research, where they helped customers find suitable Google Cloud Services for their institutions and projects. After that, Janina worked as a Customer Success Manager DACH at Hyrise Academy, where they supported technology companies in building efficient sales teams through pre-qualification of potential sales development representatives and training programs. Currently, they are working as a Customer Happiness Manager at talentsconnect AG.

Janina Schmidt-Žilič completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in International Textile and Clothing Management at Hochschule Niederrhein from 2004 to 2007. In 2014 to 2015, they pursued further education and obtained a Gepr. E-Commerce Manager certification from SGD Studiengemeinschaft Darmstadt. Additionally, they have completed certifications in Office 365/OneDrive/MS Teams from LinkedIn in January 2021 and in building, developing, and leading Teams to success from LinkedIn in October 2020.
