Rait Haavel

Rait Haavel is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in Microsoft platform infrastructure management and services. Currently serving as a Senior Windows Administrator at Tallink Grupp since June 2023, Rait has held various significant roles within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia since March 2017, including Head of IT Infrastructure Division and Microsoft System Administrator, focusing on infrastructure services management, improvement, and security. Previous experience includes Microsoft System Administrator roles at the Estonia Defence Forces and SMIT, where responsibilities encompassed IT service management and system implementation. Rait's early career at the Sotsiaalministeerium involved service desk management and IT lifecycle management, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Network and System Administration from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology.
