Jenny Xu has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2016, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at GAMBIT [Singapore-MIT GAMBIT Game Lab]. The following year, they served as a Software Engineer Intern at PlayStation Network, where they focused on front-end client software development. In 2017, they were a KPCB Engineering Fellow at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at N3TWORK INC, contributing to the development of the mobile game "Legendary, Game of Heroes". In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Google and as a Greylock X Fellow at Greylock Partners. From 2011 to 2020, Jenny worked as a Game Creator, Artist, and Animator on DeviantArt.com at DeviantArt, Inc. Jenny then founded and took on multiple roles at JCSOFT, INC., including CEO and Founder. During their time at JCSOFT, they collaborated with Niantic, the developers of Pokemon GO, to create augmented reality and location-based gaming experiences. Additionally, they developed a wide range of mobile games for Android, iOS, and Amazon. In 2021, they joined Persistence as a Member and founded their own company, Talofa, where they currently serve as the CEO and Founder.
Jenny Xu attended Monta Vista High School, although the duration of their studies and the field of study are unknown. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2018.
