Lenny Dong has held multiple roles within the software engineering field, beginning in 2013 as a Summer Laboratory Research Intern at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. In 2014, they were the Vice Chair for the 8th Korea and America Student Conference and an American Delegate for the month-long student-led international student conference. In 2015, they were a Customer Development for &Ava (Hiring) and a CS61A Lab Assistant at UC Berkeley. In 2016, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Naehas, where they created a UI allowing users to configure features for an enterprise marketing SaaS platform. In 2017, they were a Software Engineering Intern | Realtime Team at LinkedIn, where they utilized K-Means Clustering to improve article relevance for LinkedIn users and built an internal onboarding tool for the platform. From 2018-2021, they held the role of Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at LinkedIn. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Talos.
Lenny Dong attended Montgomery Blair High School from 2010 to 2014 and then proceeded to the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Bioengineering in 2018.
