David Escobio

David Escobio has worked as a Distribution Standards Engineer, Operations Engineer, and Distribution Design Engineer at Tampa Electric since January 2019. At Tampa Electric, David prepared circuit arc flash reports, investigated the impact of electric vehicle density, and explored locations for a potential solar farm. Before joining Tampa Electric, David gained experience as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Hatch Lighting and TÜV SÜD. During their time at Hatch Lighting, David created a test setup that validated a product redesign and implemented process improvement projects. At TÜV SÜD, David researched RF energy effects and tested products for EMC compliance. David attended the University of South Florida from 2016 to 2019.
