Wesley Barnett

Wesley Barnett is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of venture capital, hospitality, and real estate. Currently serving as General Partner at TampaBay.Ventures since May 2021, Wesley focuses on early-stage investments in the Lakeland and Tampa Bay area. As President of Lakeland Hospitality Group since July 2017, Wesley oversees hotel development projects including the SpringHill Suites Lakeland, which opened in July 2020. Additionally, Wesley is a Partner at Mayfair Properties of Lakeland, a firm involved in managing residential and commercial real estate, and has held a Board Member position at Citizens Bank and Trust since November 2017. Previously, Wesley was Managing Partner at TreeTop Commons, LLC, where cloud-based software solutions were developed to enhance community engagement. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus on Finance from Wake Forest University.
