Godwyn Manful has over 20 years of experience in various marketing and sales roles. Godwyn'smost recent position was as a Consultant - Regional Business Development Manager at Tampico Beverages since August 2022.
Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, they served as the Head of Sales & Marketing (West Africa) at Blue Skies, where they were responsible for defining marketing and sales strategies and ensuring their execution within set standards and budget. Godwyn also built and maintained strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, aiming to deliver strong top and bottom lines in the P&L.
Before joining Blue Skies, from 2016 to 2018, Manful worked as a Marketing Manager at Wilmar Africa Ltd., where their main focus was on accelerating market share growth for flagship and emerging brands. Godwyn was also responsible for investing a $3 million marketing budget in effective category plans and building strong collaborations with third-party agencies.
From 2015 to 2016, Manful worked at Nestle Ghana Ltd. as a Category Manager - Culinary, where they successfully returned the business to growth and profitability. In this role, they revamped the activation toolkit to trigger meaningful consumer engagement and achieved positive RIG at YE 2016 after three years of volume decline.
In their previous roles, Manful served as the Trade Marketing & Business Development Lead at Mondelēz International from 2013 to 2014, the Channel Category Sales Development Manager and Culinary Brand Manager at Nestle Ghana Ltd. from 2008 to 2013, an Account Manager at Primus- Young & Rubicam Ghana in 2007, a Business English tutor at Linguarama Paris from 2006 to 2007, and an intern (Account Executive) at Landor Associates (Paris office) in 2003.
Throughout their career, Manful has demonstrated strengths in strategic planning, brand management, sales development, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Godwyn Manful obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on International Business Administration from Emory University - Goizueta Business School in 2003. Godwyn then pursued further education and received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Business Administration from The American University of Paris between 2001 and 2005. In 2018, they attended the London School of Business & Finance, where they earned a Master's Degree in Strategic Marketing (MSc) in 2019.
