David Teller

David Teller has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. David is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Tamr Inc. since October 2019. Prior to that, from August 2019 to October 2019, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at CiBO Technologies. During their tenure at CiBO Technologies from August 2015 to August 2019, they also held the position of Senior Director, Software Engineering. In this role, they were involved in building a pipeline to ingest farm data and convert it into crop growth simulations, as well as developing analytical tools in R and Scala to analyze simulation results.

Before joining CiBO Technologies, David Teller briefly worked at Nielsen as the VP of Computational Engineering from March 2015 to August 2015. David also served as the Chief Architect at Affinnova (Acquired by Nielsen) from March 2001 to March 2015, where they played a key role in optimizing products and market research projects.

Prior to that, David Teller had a long tenure at Perseptive Biosystems (Acquired by Applied Biosystems) as a Senior Director and Senior Consulting Engineer from January 1989 to March 2001. Here, they were responsible for software architecture and strategy, and acted as a technical and team leader for high priority instrumentation projects.

Before Perseptive Biosystems, David Teller worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Betagen from March 1986 to January 1989, where they designed and implemented software for data collection and analysis.
