Keziah Katz

Senior Software Engineer II at Tamr

Keziah Katz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2008 and 2009, Keziah worked as a Visitor Use Assistant at the National Park Service. In 2011, Keziah served as a Biological Science Aid at the USDA and as an Intern at the Smithsonian Institution, Museum of Natural History.

From 2012 to 2016, Keziah worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Colorado State University. In 2017, Keziah worked as a Fellow at Insight Data Science. Since then, Keziah has been employed at Tamr, initially as a DataOps Engineer from 2017 to 2019, then as a Senior DataOps Engineer from 2019 to 2020, followed by a role as a DataOps Tech Lead from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Keziah holds the position of Software Engineering Manager at Tamr, starting in February 2022.

Keziah Katz pursued their education in the field of ecology, starting with their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology: Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior from the University of New Hampshire. This educational journey spanned from 2008 to 2012.

Subsequently, Keziah continued their academic pursuits at Colorado State University, where they embarked on a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Ecology. Keziah spent seven years, from 2012 to 2019, working towards their PhD in this field.
