Shalini Priya

Shalini Priya has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Shalini started their career as a Programming Analyst at Cognizant, where they were involved in fast-paced defect fixing and maintenance of staging and testing environments. Shalini also developed a project in Java for automating task assignments. Shalini then became a Java Associate at Cognizant, where they continued to contribute to defect fixing and implemented innovative functionalities.

Next, Shalini worked as an IT Consultant at Oracle, specializing in supply chain management and cloud order management. Shalini delivered functionalities, maintained PL/SQL code, resolved customer issues, and received recognition for solving a high number of tickets. Shalini then joined Ivy Comptech as a Systems Analyst, where they utilized their communication and soft skills to manage an online poker game. Shalini also developed SQL queries, Java backend, and Angular UI codes.

Following their time at Ivy Comptech, Shalini joined Stable as a Data Analyst. While there, they performed data analysis, scraping, mining, cleaning, and verification related to agricultural commodities. Shalini developed Python scripts to mine pricing data and optimized them for efficiency.

Most recently, Shalini joined Tamr as a DataOps Engineer, where they are currently employed.

Shalini Priya obtained a Master's degree in Data Science and Analytics from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra from 2009 to 2013. In their earlier education, they attended DAV Public School from 2007 to 2009, where they achieved SSC certification in Mathematics and Computer Science. In 2006 and 2007, they attended St Joseph's Convent High School and completed their HSC equivalent studies.
