Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a robust background in developing collaborative educational solutions since joining SMART Technologies in July 2010. With expertise in hardware and firmware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices, Chris has made significant contributions to technology in education. Prior roles include electronics contracting for the Science Alberta Foundation, where design and repair of educational devices were key responsibilities, and an Electronics Engineer position at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for forestry equipment. Additionally, Chris served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, facilitating student labs and assessments. Chris holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
