Bao Le Duc has extensive experience in the tech industry, with a range of roles and responsibilities. Bao started their career at eSilicon as a Developer from 2001 to 2003. Bao then worked as a Senior Developer and Team Leader at International IT Services, where they were responsible for requirement gathering, design, and development of a reporting system for a banking system. Bao also played a key role in designing and implementing a testing system for network devices. From 2005 to 2006, Bao worked as a Technical Team Lead at VietSoftware International. In 2006, they contributed to The Codehaus, specifically by designing and implementing the mapping of XML Schema to Java classes. Bao also proposed and implemented a framework for a Data Definition Language script generator. Bao then interned at INRIA in 2007. From 2008 to 2010, Bao worked as a Research Engineer at Orange, contributing to the SemEUsE research project and developing a monitoring component. In 2011, they founded their own tech company, AntTek, where they served as CEO until 2016. During this time, they successfully developed Android apps for 30 million users worldwide. Since 2016, Bao has been working as the Lead Android Engineer at Tandem Mobile App, responsible for the Tandem for Android platform.
Bao Le Duc completed their Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computing Science at Dai hoc Quốc Gia Tp. Hồ Chí Minh, from 1997 to 2001. Bao then pursued a Master's degree in Software Engineering at IFI, from 2005 to 2007. Bao proceeded to pursue a Ph.D. in Software Engineering at Pierre and Marie Curie University, from 2007 to 2010.
