Ralph Wong has extensive work experience in risk management, consulting, and strategy. Ralph is currently serving as the Director of Non-Financial Risk for Tangerine. Previously, Ralph held a similar role at Scotiabank, where they led and oversaw the Non-Financial Risk Program for Retail Banking. Before that, they worked as a Senior Manager and Manager in the Financial Services Consulting Group at PwC Canada. During their time at PwC, Ralph led various projects, including developing technology solutions for data exchange between banks and third-party entities and enhancing risk and compliance management capabilities for a large Canadian bank. Prior to PwC, they worked as a Senior Associate at PwC Canada and held consulting roles at Bank of Montreal and Saint Elizabeth Health Care. Ralph started their career as a Process Engineer at Sanofi Pasteur.
Ralph Wong completed their education with a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto from 2003 to 2008. Ralph then pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategy and Marketing from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management from 2008 to 2010.
