José Campos

José Campos is the current Co-CEO at Tangivel. José has also served as the Executive Director at MyBookBuzz from September 2012 to September 2017. Prior to that, they were with Tangível as a researcher from January 1998 to December 2017. José has also worked as a professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu from September 1997 to March 2016, teaching courses on Usability and user experience, Web design, Front-end Development, and Advanced Programming. José started their career as a software developer at JUNITEC - Júnior Empresas do Instituto Superior Técnico from March 1992 to September 1994.

José Campos studied computer science engineering at the Instituto Superior Técnico, followed by a MsC in the same field at Universidade de Coimbra. José is currently a PhD student at Universidade de Coimbra, researching divergent search engines and serendipity. In addition to their academic pursuits, José Campos has also completed a number of professional development courses and certifications, including a General Management Program from AESE Business School, certification from Strategyn in Jobs-to-Be-Done and Outcome-Driven Innovation, and certification from the UXalliance in UX-PM Level 1 - Adopting UX, UX-PM Level 2 - Executing UX, and UX-PM Level 3 - Leading UX. José has also completed a NN/g UX Certificate from the Nielsen Norman Group and a CCP - Certificado de Competências Pedagógicas from IEFP.
