Colin Liang

Colin Liang has a diverse range of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Colin started their career as a Process Chemist at Wilmington PharmTech in 2006 and worked there until 2007. Liang then joined Vertex Pharmaceuticals in 2007, where they held the positions of Research Scientist I to Sr Research Scientist for over 13 years. In 2021, they moved to Relay Therapeutics and worked as a Material Supply Lead until October. Liang currently serves as the Director of Process Chemistry CMC at Tango Therapeutics, a position they have held since May 2022. Additionally, they also worked as the Director of Discovery Process at Tango Therapeutics from October 2021 to May 2022.

Colin Liang obtained their Bachelor's degree in Organic Synthesis from Wuhan University in 1996. Colin then pursued a Master's degree in Organic Synthesis from the same institution between 1996 and 1999. Later, they obtained their PhD in Organic Synthesis from The University of Hong Kong from 1999 to 2004. Finally, they completed a Postdoctoral program in Total Synthesis at the University of Delaware from 2004 to 2006.
