Justin Brooks

Justin Brooks is currently the Chief Science Officer at Tanzen Medical. Prior to this, they were with Vanda Pharmaceuticals where they served as the Medical Director. In this role, they were responsible for global pharmacovigiliance and safety activities for pre and post marketed drugs. Justin also oversaw clinical development projects including protocol development/amendment, clinical study report generation filing, and regulatory submissions (US and EU). Prior to their time with Vanda Pharmaceuticals, Justin was a Locum Tenens Physician with multiple organizations from March 2015 to July 2021. Justin has also held positions as an Internal Medicine Resident with the University of Maryland Medical Center from June 2013 to July 2014 and as a Team Leader with the U.S. Army Research Laboratory from July 2014 to March 2019. Their very first position was as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the U.S. Army Research Laboratory from June 2012 to June 2013.

Dr. Justin Brooks received their Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Washington University in St. Louis and their M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine. Justin completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where they majored in Biological Sciences. Dr. Brooks is a graduate of Norfolk Academy.

They work with Cody Feltch - Co-Founder & CTO, Sanjay K. Agarwal - Chief Medical Officer. Justin Brooks reports to Nilanjan Banerjee, Co-Founder & CEO.
