Loren Bell

Professional Ski Patroller at Taos Ski Valley, Inc.

Loren Bell serves as the Director of the Enchanted Circle Trails Association since September 2022, contributing to the development, maintenance, and promotion of a regional trail system in northern New Mexico. Prior to this role, Loren worked as a project manager, trail designer, and community liaison with the organization. In addition, Loren has been a Professional Ski Patroller at Taos Ski Valley, Inc. since November 2014, focusing on on-mountain safety and serving as a training coordinator. Loren's experience includes managing a remote field research station for the One Forest Project in Indonesia, leading volunteer efforts with the National Park Service to remove invasive species in the Grand Canyon, and serving as a Wilderness Ranger with the U.S. Forest Service responsible for trail maintenance and campsite rehabilitation. Loren holds a Master of Science in Ecology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a Bachelor's degree in Ecology and Philosophy from Texas Tech University, and completed a Front-End Developer Bootcamp at Promineo Tech.
