Melissa Rivera

Melissa Rivera is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the School Principal at Tapestry Charter School since July 2021. Prior to this role, Melissa held the position of Assistant Principal at King Center Charter School from August 2018 to June 2021 and at Duval County Public Schools from August 2005 to August 2018, where responsibilities included teaching, program coordination, and intervention support. Additional experience includes serving as a Poetry and Art Therapy Instructor at Hope at Hand and Lead Tutor at A+TutorU. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education and a Bachelor's degree in Theatre from Buffalo State University.
