Merve Çakır

Technical Product Manager, Gametech Platforms at TapNation

Merve Çakır began their career as a Strategy Intern at McCANN Istanbul in 2013. Merve then worked as a Demand Planning Intern at Unilever in 2015, where they developed and implemented automated forecasting tools. In 2016, they joined Henkel as a Marketing Trainee, analyzing marketing and sales data and collaborating with cross-functional teams for marketing campaigns. After that, they worked as a Marketing Analyst at Gamegos from 2017 to 2018.

In 2018, Merve transitioned to working in product management roles. Merve first joined Sojern as a Product Analyst, analyzing complex data and making recommendations for product enhancements. Merve then became a Product Manager, Optimization at Sojern, managing the product roadmap and working closely with stakeholders and engineers.

In 2020, they joined Coda as a Product Manager, Data & Optimization, where they collaborated with a cross-functional team to build a growth automation and optimization product. Merve managed the full product lifecycle and utilized insights to inform product decisions.

In 2021, they joined Ace Games as a Data Analytics Lead, leading the data team in building data products and drawing insights for game improvement. Merve also partnered with cross-functional teams and leadership for data-driven decision-making.

In 2022, Merve became a Senior Product Manager at UAhero, where they led cross-functional teams and monitored product performance. Merve also benchmarked market needs and competition to maintain a competitive edge.

Most recently, in 2023, they joined TapNation as a Product Manager.

Merve Çakır completed their high school education at Kocaeli Korfez Science School from 2006 to 2010, with a focus on science. Following their high school graduation, they enrolled at Sabanci University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems and Industrial Engineering. Merve completed their undergraduate studies at Sabanci University from 2010 to 2016.
