Antoine Kamar has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Antoine started their career at the University of Maryland as a Help Desk Head, where they managed a team of 6 students and oversaw technical maintenance for over 150 workstations. Antoine then moved on to Dubai World, where they worked as an IT Project Coordinator, managing the implementation of various software solutions for different departments within the company. Currently, they are working at TAQA Group, where they have held various roles such as IT Project Manager, Senior IT Project Manager, Head of Global Enterprise Applications, and VP - IT Applications. In these positions, they have led several strategic initiatives including the development and implementation of global enterprise application roadmaps, the consolidation of global data centers, and the management of IT setups for new office spaces.
Antoine Kamar began their education at the University of Maryland from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a Master of Engineering degree with a specialization in Computer field of study. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several additional certifications. In 2012, they became ITIL certified. Two years later, in 2014, Antoine obtained the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2016, they attained the ISO 22301 Business Continuity Lead Implementer certification from BSI. Most recently, in May 2020, they completed the Digital Transformation program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
