Tarek, CPA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial analysis and accounting. Currently serving as a Senior Financial Analyst at Tarion since January 2023, Tarek previously held the position of Senior Accountant at Field Trip Health, where responsibilities included IFRS financial statement preparation and coordination with external auditors. Prior to that, Tarek worked at Tarion Warranty Corporation as an Accountant, managing month-end adjustments, reconciliations, and regulatory filings. Tarek also has a strong background in financial reporting from a tenure at Grameenphone Ltd, where involvement included preparation of annual financial statements, supporting merger due diligence, and participation in IFRS implementation. Tarek's qualifications include being a CPA member in Canada and an ACCA member, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from United International University.
