Korey Shronts

Korey Shronts has over 25 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Korey began their career in 1994 at MICA Information Systems as a Programmer/Analyst, where they were responsible for new development and ongoing maintenance of codebase for medical practice management software. In 1997, they moved to Summit Medical Systems as a Software Developer, developing web applications for the collection and reporting of clinical information relating to a medical device manufacturer. In 1998, they joined Net32 Inc. as a Web Developer. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at BuildLinks as a Software Engineer, developing Java web applications and services for the residential home building industry. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at both Nike and Yo Uganda LTD as a Senior Software Engineer. Korey then joined Pyramid Systems, Inc. in 2017, where they were a Senior Software Engineer on the USCIS NASS (National Scheduling System) project. Korey has been a Senior Software Engineer at Tarkik Solutions since 2021.

Korey Shronts holds a BS in Software Development from Western Governors University and an AAS in Business Computer Programming from Forsyth Technical Community College. Korey also holds a number of certifications, including an edX Verified Certificate for Cloud Computing for Enterprises (2021), an edX Verified Certificate for Tech for Good: The Role of ICT in Achieving the SDGs (2021), an ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (2020), a CompTIA Project+ Certification (2020), and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) (2021).
