Sherri Benn

Sherri Benn, PhD has a wealth of experience in higher education administration, with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion initiatives. Currently serving as the Vice President for Global, Community and First-Gen Initiatives at Tarleton State University, Sherri leads various programs supporting students from diverse backgrounds. Prior to this role, Sherri held positions at Texas State University, including Assistant Vice President for Institutional Inclusive Excellence and Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs/Director of Student Diversity & Inclusion. With a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from The University of Texas at Austin, Sherri has demonstrated their commitment to creating inclusive environments for all students.
