Fresia Segovia

Fresia Segovia has extensive experience in the field of information technology and management. Fresia is currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at the Taronga Conservation Society Australia since November 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Chief Information Officer at Georges River Council from November 2016 to October 2022. Fresia also briefly worked as the Transformation & Change Lead – Information Management at Georges River Council from May 2016 to November 2016. Before joining Georges River Council, they served as the Chief Information Officer at Hurstville City Council from November 2006 to May 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Group Manager ICT at Stellar from September 2000 to November 2006. Fresia started their career as a Network Consultant at Intermec by Honeywell from 1997 to 2000 and as a Network and Service officer at Baulderstone Hornibrook from 1995 to 1997.

Fresia Segovia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Surveying Engineering, majoring in Land Information Systems from UNSW. Fresia also obtained a Master of Management degree from the University of Wollongong. In addition, they have a Graduate Certificate in Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney. Fresia further completed a Foundations of Directorship program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
